The driveway (with gravel) ---

WOW! :)

All in one day ...

The gravel truck.

moving the gravel around the driveway...

The concrete cutting guy ... (we needed an old piece of concrete in the back of the house cut away)

It's been one busy day!! :) The little boy next door loved seeing all the BIG trucks come and go.

Headboard ideas ...

I like the antique feel of this headboard - it was created using old ceiling tiles.
It's shabby yet elegant.

This is another headboard idea I like. It was created with a curtain rod and fabric. The fabric was decorated with favorite quotes and sayings (using fabric markers).

It's inspiring!

Shabby Chic Chalkboard

While I was out and about today ... I bumped into this beautiful piece and just had to bring it home :)! I love having chalkboards around the house.

The dining room (without trim)

Our big project for Labor Day was getting the trim (baseboards & crown molding) up in the dining room ... watch for photos! :)

Art for the Princess room ...

This looks so great in Lauren's 'Princess' room :) ...
I'm working on her reading nook in her room and will post photos later.

From drab to fab ... (Lauren's room)

The way it was - in blue.

We painted it brown ...

We had new windows put in ... (amazing day by the way).

We added a quote to the wall...

We love it!

It's fun (and good) to look back and see all the hard work :) ...
