The stepping stones ...

The walkway to the front door --- L.O.V.E
:)

In black and white ...

Love how photos look in black and white ...

Pottery Barn ...

Do you get the Pottery Barn catalogs? Oh good, me too! And when they come I plop myself down and enjoy all the inspiring, beautiful ideas that are so elegantly stuffed into the pages of their mailer. This room from the latest "PB Teen" just jumped out at me ... it's happy, fresh and very comfy looking.

The BIG clock ...

I think this big clock was made for this room! :)

The writing on the wall...

In Lauren's room ...
"Make way for the Princess ..."

Every house needs a quote from Shakespeare on the wall ....!

Patio Projects.

I love chalkboards and painted an old sign (see by the door) with chalkboard paint ...
If you come visit you'll be inspired ... today's message:
Stop to marvel at a butterfly.

An old hutch top ... It was purple (from our previous house) but I painted it white - it will be a book shelf in Lauren's room.

White with a touch of purple ... Love it!

Black dining chairs ...

The house is coming to life! :)

Setting the fence posts ...

The posts - all set in a row!

Looking good! :)

The first one - :)

A truck full of posts and cement ...

Let's do this! :)

Special thanks to Keni Gosney for helping with this ALL day project.

PS: All 30 posts are in and ready for the next step of this backyard adventure! Moving on ...

A Saturday with a Bobcat ...

See the dirt ... Someday (soon we hope) it will be a paved driveway ...

The rose garden. I spent an entire day digging up all 16 of the roses plants...

Here's a rose in it's new home! Hopefully they all make it... we'll see in the Spring.

View of the backyard from the upstairs window - Getting it to this point was an ALL day project! WOW!

We rented a bobcat and got to work ...

A pile of gunk from the yard ... We had two huge truck loads to haul to the dump from the backyard.

A one ton truck - fully loaded.

The bobcat.
This backyard is ready for a fence, a sprinkler system, grass and someday a pool! :)
