I think we can ...

Soon ... we'll have a new driveway. For now, we are parking in the dirt and weeds :)
Yes - I continue to learn the beautiful art of patience.

Imagination is also powerful these days ... :)

'Graffiti' on the driveway ...

These 'signs' are outside ... looks like a new driveway is in the 'works'!! :)
We found out we need to remove a tree from our backyard for work to move forward.
We have bids coming in for the tree work and once the tree is out, we can begin the driveway project. :)

Art for the Princess room ...

This looks so great in Lauren's 'Princess' room :) ...
I'm working on her reading nook in her room and will post photos later.

From drab to fab ... (Lauren's room)

The way it was - in blue.
We painted it brown ...
We had new windows put in ... (amazing day by the way).

We added a quote to the wall...
We love it!
It's fun (and good) to look back and see all the hard work :) ...

A little girl's room with vintage charm ...

I really like this girl's room - full of charm :) ...

Hallway idea ...

I like this hallway and it has inspired some ideas for the hallway upstairs in this old/new house of ours ... Once the kids get back into school and on a normal routine, I will get back to the house projects! (fingers crossed).

Christmas in August ...

I like this wreath - Note to self {check back here for inspiration in December} ...

Ideas from a white kitchen ...

I bumped into this photo today and thought ... WOW! That's a lovely kitchen. :)
My favorite part - the three lights hanging above the island and the floral fabric on the back of the chairs. {Ideas} ...

Berry Cheesecake ...

Thanks to our neighbor who brought us this very yummy cheesecake .... YUM!! :)

The driveway ---

Our latest project - The Driveway. We rented a jackhammer last week and broke up the old, existing driveway. THAT was a wild time! Special thanks to the entire neighborhood for hanging in with all the noise and flying rock. :)

Up next: New concrete all the way back to the backyard fence.
Good times! We are making progress... the slow and steady kind (like a turtle).
