Antiques in Prosser.
I love that yellow rocking chair ...
Love that red door! :)Lauren and I made a trip to Yakima last week and on our way there made a stop in Prosser to check out a few antique shops.
Fabric for the dining room chairs ...
Love the look and feel of this stuff :) - A touch of vintage, a touch of cottage = perfect.
Corner hutch in the dining room. It needs a color makeover - I'm thinking blue, maybe cream.
Future pillow for the couch.

My Singing Superman - faster than a speeding bullet! :)We turned our trip to IKEA into a little 'getaway' and had a great time ...! We are working on our walk in closet for our room and went to check out their closet/storage options.
The bathroom (before and after) ...

We bought this house without ever seeing inside of it first. We looked around it and peeked in the windows and then bought it. I was a little nervous about what the insides would be like and was really happy when we stepped inside and saw that it had GREAT potential.
This is the only bathroom in the house and this has been a big adjustment for all of us! Take a number and wait your turn ... :) We are working on getting a second bathroom!
I like how this little space turned out. It still needs trim and baseboard and I need to refinish both doors.

Tory did a great job on the tile in the shower and the floor. I especially like the subway tile above the shower.
Tidbit about the toilet paper holder: I went to find a new one at Home Depot (like the one pictured above) and asked the guy in the bathroom section if he could help me find one like it - I took it with me to the store. He laughed and said: "I'm pretty sure that's from like the 40's and we don't have one like that."
We really wanted to keep a few of the old parts of the house so the toilet paper holder stayed :)

See the black chandelier in this room? That was the light that used to hang in the dining room - I spray painted it black and added a little bling bling to it! It's perfect up in this room.

Beautiful. I enjoy looking back at the old pictures and comparing them with the way the house looks now. It's amazing and I can hardly believe we did all this ... cheers to the stuff we can do with our time, energy and creative vision! :)
There is still a ton to do ... it's just a matter of how and when!
