WOW!
Before ... This was the yucky corner down in the basement. When we first started working on the house - I was afraid to go down here. I thought a little old man lived down here and I really didn't want to bump into him :) ...
But now - it's an amazing media room where we love to crash and watch movies on the big screen. I love watching a room transform from something scary to a major wow! That has been one of my favorite parts of working on this house - working towards the wow!It feels good to step back and say: "We did that!"
Six Geese A-laying ...
On the sixth day of Christmas we found a wooden goose (bird house) with a big egg full of yummy jelly beans. (Another fun surprise at our new (old) house)!!

Four calling birds ...
Our pear tree is soooo alive and full of the most interesting birds ...
Tonight at the doorstep was a beautiful Christmas tin filled with yummy chocolates, candy, 2 red cardinals for the tree and ...
These 2 glass birds that sit below our pear tree and watch over all the other creatures above.:) So fun!

Three French Hens ...
So funny! 3 French Hens = a big bag of chicken breast nuggets.We laughed really hard with this one! Thanks mystery gift giver ... :)
Two turtle doves ...
On the second day of Christmas - we found this on our doorstep :) ...It was a very cute Christmas box with two little white doves and 5 turtle chocolate bars.
So we added the doves to our partridge in the pear tree.
And ate the turtles :) ...A partridge in a pear tree ...
This is our first Christmas in our new (old) house and we have a secret gift giver who is magically appearing each night and dropping off little gifts at our front door. OH, this is adding all sorts of 'giddy' excitement over here! :) Special thanks to our secret elf ....Gift #1 - A partridge in a pear tree.

The final touches (on the dining room doorway) ...
One more afternoon with Dad ... he added his final touches and magic to the doorway and it looks really gorgeous! Thanks Dad ...! :)A few of my favorite things ...
